 An ideal teacher

A teacher needs to help students to learn. With an ideal teacher you’ll find that you have learnt something new at the end of every lesson. To do this, they must have a zest for their subject and teaching. Making students learn is easier than it sounds and a teacher will need many skills and the right personality.

Firstly, teachers who are patient won’t lose their cool. That means there will be a happy class, and this class equals more work and learning. I find it is helpful when teachers repeat explanations or instructions, particularly difficult ones. As well as giving an explanation, teachers need to listen to them. Students often give an ear and they deserve one back. Students shouldn’t be frightened of their teacher so that they daren’t ask questions. Teachers should encourage questions and be good at explaining.

The other elements that teachers should have are their own confident and enthusiastic. Teaching should be a passionate work as well as lecturing. If teachers do not love they’re job and be confident of doing it, how could they be able to cultivate a good student?

However, just being kind is not enough .All teachers need to have their own principles of being strict. Otherwise the class would be too disruptive and no one would be able to learn. The teacher should make sure that everyone has the “freedom of speech” when the time is right. And too much freedom might lead to anarchy! There have to be some rules but they don’t have to be pointless. The teacher should always stick to their rules and be consistent.

The last but not the least, teachers with a good sense of humor are normally the most popular. Tell some jokes while class will lighten the whole classroom atmosphere than just lecturing, and it also helps students to relax their nerves. Some research tells that the appropriate humor can help students to acquire the knowledge.

A good teacher will not just help us during our education time, but also have a great impact on our whole life time, who tells us how to be a person with comprehensive knowledge and good personality.
